i've been searching for another bike and a good friend offered to give me her old raleigh mixte. i've decided to put drop handlebars back on it (she changed them out a few years ago) so i've been searching around for pictures of similar bikes (to decide on the color of the handlebar tape) and found the mixte bikes flickr group. my bike's at the shop getting a tune-up but i'll post it soon!

kelly and i hit the rock and roll yard sale in union square on saturday and swung by grand while there. though i'm usually a simple, solid color kind of girl, i think i'm transitioning to a pattern lover and am now totally enamored by modern radar and their bags and pillows.

when kelly and i were planning our installation for icff were considered some kind of a modular system that tabbed together. we were partially inspired by cuma and cross by takehiro ando. though we ended up going in a different direction, i still love this idea.
