slow moments.

my job interview on tuesday went well and another full-time opportunity presents itself. i have to admit i'm not sure how i feel about it.

i was reading a bio on maria from port2port press on design*sponge and love the fact that she describes her life as "filled with slow moments". i've felt that in the past three weeks. working from home has allowed me to notice more of where i reside, the courtyard of my apartment building, the trees around the reservoir and the sidewalk on the way to the coffee shop.

i'm not sure if i'm ready to paddle back into the current.

  1. Miss thang, i don't think you should take another full-time position (unless you want to - that's another case). Why? i think that, perhaps, many hours spent inside... on someone-else's project(!) stifles the creativity that comes so naturally to you...(you do know that this is not something that happens to others so easily, right?) You've put in enough time...so go do something else now. Your photos are lovely, btw.
now go rock our socks off!
