new orleans modular housing.

for a new orleans housing competition the philippe barriere collective, a Kansas City-based firm, came up with the MTGH (modular tradition growth housing). above is a minimum emergency shelter unit.

  1. The modular house looks nice, but it's definitely NOT typical New Orleans style. It is absolutely a scandal that such a great city has been left to founder and die by the rest of the country. There is no need for garbage to still be on the streets, condemned homes still up, and families not moved back in. This modular home is too little, too late.
