rachel whiteread is one of my favorite artists.

it was an unexpected thrill to see her water tower on top of moma when i was visiting. i've been trying to get my hands on her book, rachel whiteread's house, for some time. (and if anyone knows where i can get a copy, please please please let me know.) it covers the infilling of a rowhouse in east london that was eventually demolished leaving behind whiteread's concrete and plaster cast.
