droog.

when i was at the museum of arts and design in new york last fall, i stumbled upon an exhibit of droog. in dutch droog means dry (as in dry wit) and unadorned or simple. the design collective has created objects with low-cost industrial or recycled materials since its inception in 1993.

the come a little bit closer bench is one of my favorites. if i could afford an $8,000 bench, i'd be all over it.
