lindsay jo holmes hand-makes these stylish earrings out of the remnants of used skateboards. she collects old and damaged boards from her local skate shop (lindsay jo bakes them cookies in exchange). originally, each skateboards is made from 7 layers of pressed maple wood. by shaping the maple into jewelry she can show off the amazing colors and designs of the original board.

    I actually met Lindsay at Pier Park one day so you can feel good that the artist is an actual skater.
