the shama foundation is a nonprofit organization providing broad-based, in-country educational opportunities for children of the african island nation of madagascar. it does so with the confidence that a good level of education within a country reaches beyond individuals and touches a nation as a whole. support is provided without regard to ethnicity, gender, or religious affiliation. donated money goes to educational programs, scholarships and grants, promotional materials and activities, or the invested principal necessary to support them.
