moriyama house.

moriyama house by ryue nishizawa. [photos via turezure.]

moriyama house is a cluster of ten small buildings. four buildings are used by the client as private home, and six are rental homes. nishizawa divided one volume of normal apartment house into small independent units, and arranged them on the site.

  1. Isn't that the greatest place? I never tire of looking at it.

  2. yes... and i don't think i'll ever tire of japanese architecture...

  3. yes, what is surprising in this project is the mixture of private space with public space...
