architecture for humanity is partnering with local ngo yele haiti to begin planning for the transitional and long-term rebuilding that will be needed in devastated haiti. in addition to soliciting donations, they also have a call out for volunteers with design, construction and engineering skills. you can also donate to unicef and the american red cross.
and if you're in the boston area, there will be a benefit concert on monday, january 18th at great scott in allston with all proceeds to benefit partners in health, a boston-based charitable organization with an established reputation for providing quality health care in haiti for more than 20 years.
