  1. Hi. Great find. The idea is great and simple. If only the tea cup was more colorful. But now I'm just being picky :)

  3. This is a genius idea, no more fishing for the tea bag anymore

  7. cam upon this upon on google reader. Its a neat concept, but not a great idea. First - it looks a fragile piece that would snap off in a dishwasher full of ceramic mugs. Second - different always doesn't mean better. Why would I not wrap the tea bag around the handle? Its it important to me that I would spend $25 for 2 notches? And from one designer to another - I think this idea isn't fully developed. Just my thoughts, but thanks for sharing.

  8. It’s kind of a pointless design, really. As someone else already pointed out, you can just ***Loop The String Around The Handle***.

Adding the notch is just a superfluous feature that detracts from the aesthetics and adds a piece that could easily be damaged or break off.

It may have the novelty to invoke the response “Oh, isn’t that clever”, but a little thought shows that its an unnecessary feature. I’m sure that anyone that drinks tea often using teabags has long realized the string around the handle trick.

  9. Sure, you can use the "string-around-the-handle" trick, but this is so pretty! In my opinion, that outweighs the negatives.
