industrial bloom.

studio 1 a.m. (based in chicago) is one of my favorite jewelry designers as they work with many materials used in manufacturing.

the industrial bloom series is made from shavings of hytrel, a thermoplastic elastomer that is typically discarded during the machining process, and forms such a delicate, feminine shape. each is combined with a black or orange cord and combined to create rings, bracelets and necklaces.
