tara donovan.

i trudged through yet another snow storm in boston (this one was even more fun with freezing rain to shake things up) to see tara donovan on sunday. her work creates organic formations with man-made materials such as plastic and styrofoam cups, straws, tape and pins. so good, so very very good. 4. gorgeous work and of reclaimed materials even better! thanks for the links and images. the hanging/floating piece is so other-wordly, surreal, macro, organic, luminescent ...quite compelling. worth the haul in the snow, i'm sure.

  6. My husband and I tried to go to this exhibit the other day but it was super crowded. It looks like it is worth getting up early to make sure we see it
